Fun Weekend

We spent last weekend up in Chicago with both sides of the family. We started out at Ryan and Jeni's where the cousins (Cole and Mae) got some good play time in and we were also able to celebrate the next Murphy Baby (Baby McNabb) due this July. Jeni, Lauren (cousin to Pat) and I hosted a Baby Shower for Maryjane and it was a blast (sorry I don't have any pictures of that good time).

Then, we headed out to Algonquin for Griffin's first birthday party (I can't believe he is one already) and we had a great time. He sure is growing in to an adorable little boy!

How To Train A Dragon

Pat headed to a Bachelor Party early Saturday morning, so Connor and I decided to try a movie at the movie theater for the first time (well, technically it was his second time, but the first time was just because I wanted to see Disney's Earth and we took him with us...he was one and a half, way to young and spent most of the movie in the hallway with Pat!). He did GREAT! He loved the popcorn, big screen and stayed pretty quiet and content most of the movie. There were a few scary parts (according to him), but all in all it went great...and, it was a great movie! :)

Family of Four

I just realized that I posted this news on Facebook a few weeks ago, but forgot to put it on the blog! Exciting news at the Murphy home...after a long 2009 with trying to conceive another child, we have been SUPER blessed in 2010 as we will be adding to our family on or around October 1, 2010. I will be 15 weeks tomorrow and am starting to see improvement in how I feel, so hopefully I will be back to my old self soon!

We have decided to find out the sex this time around (we waited until we delivered with Connor) so we should find out at our 20 week ultrasound sometime around May 17th! :)

Words can not express how excited and blessed we are!

I know...an interesting picture for our Easter post, but this is what Connor INSISTED on wearing after his bath on Easter morning. He wore this all AM until we had him put on his Easter church clothes! Can't WAIT for Disney in a few weeks...I think he is going to be a BLAST!

The Wonder Pets Ride

While we were up in Minnesota the Mall of America's Nickelodeon Adventure Park, Connor tried out his first ride all by himself. Not sure he was ready for it yet! :)

To be hornet, Erin and I were laughing while we were watching (just because we knew he would be fine and thought that is how you have to learn to ride rides, right?) and I did not expect them to stop the ride...I just thought he would have to learn by trying. I was wrong when the ride worker stopped it in the middle. We sure did feel bad for laughing then! :)

Minnesota Trip

Connor and I spent a long weekend up in Minnesota with the Schindler family at the end of March and had a great time! Here are some fun pics of the kids from our adventures at The Mall of America - dinner at Rainforest Cafe' and then rides at the Nickelodeon Adventure park -, our overnight at the Mall of American Waterpark hotel and then our fun day at the water park!
