Nursery Under Construction!

We are diligently working on getting the nursery ready for the furniture to be delivered at the end of August. We wanted to share with you the progress of the room, so here it is with the green paint up on the walls. We are super happy with the color and can't wait to see the room when it is all done! :)

Not sure what the funky rainbow circles are on the wall...I am sure the sun had something to do with that.

Owen just wanted to say HI...he really has not gotten much love on this blog site! :)

Family Baby Shower

Maryjane and Jeni were very gracious and hosted our first baby shower this weekend. The shower was at Meme's (Pat's grandmother) home and was attended by the Murphy/McIntosh clan. THANK YOU to everyone who made the day special for Pat, Baby Murphy and myself. We got some wonderful things for the little bugger! :) Thanks again to everyone...especially Maryjane and Jeni for hosting, Meme for offering up her home and Aunt Cissy for taking the pictures! :)

Family Visit

Last weekend I made the trip up north to visit my brother and Julia. We had a great weekend. Friday night was YUMMY with some Chicago style pizza from my favorite place (Georgio's) and then my cousin Sam's High School Graduation Party on Saturday afternoon/night. It was great to spend time with family! Here are a few pictures from the weekend. (Thanks to Uncle Ted and Uncle Bill for taking the pictures).

Kenny Chesney Concert

Andrea Morelli, Nick Harmon, Kathy Rynard and myself all had the pleasure of attending the Kenny Chesney concert last night and it was FANTASTIC! It may have been the best set I have ever seen live by Kenny and we all had a blast! :) This may be one of my favorite nights each and every summer.

4th of July

Pat and I had a great day at Highland yesterday. The day included golf, hanging at the pool, a splash contest (Pat was a competitor), a BBQ on the back deck and fireworks. A little rain brought us inside after dinner and before the fireworks show, but they were able to get them off and the show was spectacular! What a great day!

P.S. I have to become better at remembering to take pictures before Baby Murphy arrives...I always have my camera, I just forget to use it! :)
