Connor Patrick Murphy Has Arrived!

Pat and I are very excited to announce that Connor Patrick Murphy arrived in this world on Thursday October 25, 2007. He was born at 9:02 PM weighing in at 7 lbs. 14 ounces and measuring 20 inches long. We are truly blessed to have our beautiful baby in our lives and can't believe that he is finally here!

We want to thank EVERYONE for their kind words, emails, phone calls, visits, gifts and friendship over the past few days. Pat, Connor and I are very lucky to have so many wonderful people in our lives who love us. THANK YOU!

Still Waiting...

I am now officially 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant...and still no baby! :) Some of you have requested a belly picture, so here are some pics of my 10 month pregnant belly.

Family In Town

Mom and Dad arrived in town about a week ago to make sure they were here for the arrival of Baby Murphy! We have been having a great time since they have been here! Mom has been cooking some awesome meals, we celebrated Dad's 59th Birthday (twice) and Ben & Julia came to visit this weekend. Here are some pictures from their visit thus far...

Owen's New Toy...

Just a couple of quick shots of Owen. I bought him a new toy the other day (a football since we are in the middle of football season) seeing that his world is going to be rocked with the new baby very, very soon! :) He was kind of protecting his new toy while he was asleep and I thought it was pretty cute.

Katie Countryman's Baptism

I am very honored to be the Godmother to Katie Countryman (thanks Brad and Eileen!) who was baptized last Sunday. She was great during the baptism and the Countrymans put on a great party afterwards. I can't wait for many fun times ahead for the Murphy and Countryman families! :) Note: I apologize that the pictures are not the best...we got a new camera and Sunday was the first time we used it.

Go IU!

While we were down in Bloomington at the Phi Mu tailgate a few weekends ago we ran in to Kelly, Joe and Alex Todd. Kel just sent me these pictures and they were too cute not to post! :)

Butler Bulldog Beauty Contest

Pat, Owen and I attended the Butler Bulldog Beauty Contest (an annual homecoming tradition at Butler University) with the McCulloch Family (Mike, Kelly, Baxter, Katie and soon to arrive - Izzy) on Saturday morning. Although Owen was not too happy with me for making him wear a Halloween contest (you can kind of tell he is crabby in the pictures), we all had a good time! We all walked away empty handed from winning a category, but we brought home treats which made our four legged friends very happy! :)
