I bought Connor some Lightening McQueen (Cars) boots at Target the other day just so that he would have something water proof to wear in the snow/rain over the winter. They were a little big (eve the XS was a little big), but I decided to get them anyway as I was not planning to spend a great amount on "snow" boots this year and these were in my price range. Well, I did not know what I was getting myself in to as he LOVES them and wants to wear them all the time. Like I said, they are a little big, but he is managing to get around in them. They fall off all the time when I am carrying him, but I am the one that has to deal with that, not Connor! :) Check him out in his new boots!

Year and Family Photos
We recently had some year pictures of Connor and some family photos taken by a professional photographer, Angela Lurton of Times to Treasure Photography. She was WONDERFUL and the pictures are beautiful.
Here are a few and you can check out all 100 (if you would like) under The Murphy Family Picture Site tab in the link list on the right. There is an album with all the pictures there.
P.S. I have also updated some other albums on our picture site, but I think most of those photographs made the blog. :)

Happy Birthday Jesus Party
Last Wednesday we had a birthday party for Jesus with the McGowan's, Countryman's and Morelli's (a very fun tradition that Kate and Eileen started a few years ago and Andrea and I have been lucky to join in...so it is now a tradition between the four of us!) Here are some shots of the kiddos enjoying the party.
All the kids singing Happy Birthday (Connor, Dominic, Sofia, Jack, Patrick, Maggie, Katie and Olivia).
Olivia getting in to the "cha cha cha" part of Happy Birthday with Aunt Kate's help! :)
Sofia with her super fun gift...decorate a ballerina outfit!
Olivia super excited about her Hannah Montana Build A Bear from Connor.
Connor opening his Little People Airplane that he LOVES!
Dominic opening up his Thomas DVD and book (I think they were both Thomas).
Monkey Katie in the toy basket!
Whitney's 3rd Birthday
I had a WONDERFUL afternoon with my God Daughter, Whitney Scherrer, last Wednesday. Whitney will turn three at the end of the month and I wanted to start a tradition of taking her out for a "special" day that we could share together.
This year we went to McDonald's for a Happy Meal, grabbed some ice cream at Dairy Queen (we were at the food court at the mall) and then ended our time together with a make over at Libby Lu.
I had a blast and I think Whitney did, too!
Here are some pictures of the gorgeous girl after her time at Libby Lu!
