You Know You Are A Mom When...

You get to the gym and realize you have two different running shoes on!!! And, the sad thing is I had been wearing them for about 30 minutes and did not notice until I was walking in to LA Fitness. However, I was too lazy to go home so I ran my 60 minutes today with two different shoes on! Just shows how crazy a day can be with children! :)

Play Date With Izzy

Kelly and Izzy McCulloch came over last week for a play date. Izzy and Connor are about three weeks apart and really enjoyed playing together. We look forward to the next time we can all hang out!

11th Annual Murphy St. Patrick's Day Party

We had our annual St. Patrick's Day party last Saturday and a great time was had by all. Everyone showed up in their green and brought their Irish spirit...especially their Irish drinking spirit! The party started at 7:30 PM and by 9:30 PM the keg was DEAD! No worries though...we went out and got another one! By the end of the night we finished about half the second keg so a job well done by everyone! :) We love this holiday and are glad everyone was able to celebrate with us.

Here are some pictures from Connor's first St. Patrick's Day! We met up with the Countryman clan and the Morelli's at Pat Flynn's for lunch. Then, headed to Penny and Bob's for corned beef and cabbage. Happy St. Patty's Day! :)

2008 Heroes Gala

The 2008 Heroes Gala took place on Saturday March 8th. It was a wonderful event and we had a great time with our friends and family. We don't have numbers yet, but are hoping that we raised a good amount of money to be donated to the IU Cancer Center. Fingers crossed that the silent auction did well...

Rice Cereal

This was Connor's third day eating rice cereal and he LOVES IT! :) The pediatrician told us we would have to be patient teaching him to eat with a spoon and that he may not like the consistency of the cereal, but that does not seem to be the case at the Murphy household! Connor has eaten his entire bowl of cereal every night and also opened his mouth the very first time we put the spoon up to it and has opened his mouth with a smile every since! :) I guess he comes by the eating thing naturally! :) We will do rice cereal this month and will begin to add vegetables in in April. He is getting so big! :)
